A Long-Awaited Return

Metroid Prime 4 was first announced in 2017, just months after the Nintendo Switch was released. However, development on the game was restarted in 2019, with Retro Studios taking over development. This will be the first Metroid Prime game developed by Retro Studios since the original Metroid Prime, which was released in 2002.
